6 Rules Of Etiquette For Outdoor Climbing

Here’s our list of guidelines for you to be an upstanding outdoor climber.

Climbing is growing in popularity because climbing gyms are doing an amazing job at introducing people to the sport every day.

With this comes new climbers who may only understand the etiquette inside a climbing gym, but when they venture outdoors there will be some differences.

If you’re a new climber who primarily climbs indoors, check out our blog post that covers these 6 rules of outdoor climbing etiquette:

  1. Leave no trace
  2. Keep the noise reasonable
  3. Stay organized (avoid cluttering)
  4. Brush off excess chalk and tick marks
  5. Respect the local ethics
